Responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations of projects ensuring they are built to company’s standard of quality and are completed on time and on budget.
9 N% Z( |; n4 W! n4 I Conduct daily reporting on the status of projects and site conditions and attend weekly trade and management meetings to maintain continual communication and expectations with all involved in the project.
0 x+ ~2 ~( v- [4 w9 A4 ^: V4 ] Responsible for managing company’s safety program to ensure the highest of safety standards are maintained at all times.0 K5 J) F5 U5 [6 D1 G2 P$ o

" S* D4 A n, m, n* U. n1 ? Journeyperson designation in a construction trade.
+ N9 p7 m/ l' `8 ]5 l+ A$ A8 M6 y Bachelor of Commerce degree or a combination of related experience.( o+ r/ c; @9 B6 _" t
Minimum of 15 years of experience on multi0family or large commercial projects.
& n. P$ a" W% T Proven experience leading safe and productive construction sites of up to 100 trade workers.
1 {) m. O6 z$ _ Strong understanding of the construction trades and the sequencing of construction projects.$ o. ]! Y: }* g) a9 @" l1 {
Ability to interpret construction drawings.& |4 S" C/ `1 O0 \
Structural wood framing experience is an asset.
/ u) r- ^# u S4 \% s Willing to work weekends to maintain construction schedule.4 Z$ ]4 h* E% X( ?8 P5 L7 b
Excellent communication skills' K0 g- R# u T n+ T
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.0 r" }" C4 R* p, k" `
WHMIS
& u; Z5 I4 S' i1 b Additional safety certifications are an asset but not required.
4 p7 y9 t+ e' ^9 I% G Experience in working on sites with power mobile equipment and tower crane.
4 K7 H4 F$ V4 E* _1 t' {3 n3 E Valid driver’s license: p2 P- l6 g5 N0 ]4 B
Steel toed boots and own hand tools.; {0 Y" {$ P% M* h+ ?5 G8 s
Computer experience required.
